A changed blog, more ATCs, ABCs and amigurumi

Background1OH! Finally I‘ve found some time to change my blog settings into what I really wanted. I ‘m happy with the result! The background now consists of one of my pictures – a pile of ribbons.

I’ve also found some time write something about myself and incorporate it into my blog and website page-tabs (See above) or –click here- for a direct link.

2) I've made some now ATCs!

I've made this ATC for the Altered picture ATC swap with a twist. So I received the main picture of the girl from my swap partner and I had to work around it :) I loved doing this since it made me think a bit more 'out of my comfort-zone'.

This one I've made for the generic profile ATC swap. My swap partner liked witches so, altought halloween is still far away, I've made her a witch ATC :)

My zentangle T for the zentangle T ATC swap :)

3) I've received a lot of things including ATCs!

Violets for the violets ATC swap - by RiittaR

Postage stamp ATC swap AUSTRALIA - by Creativememe123

Continent ATC #2 asia - by ShortyRedds

Never stop to surprise yourself - by Husum
I received this ATC for a European blind PIF swap on ATCsforAll. I would also like to thank Husum for letting me know that I've made a mistake in this post before! Sorry again!

4.) I've made some altered bottle caps for myselve with some personal pictures in it. As soon as I have enough of them I will incorporate then in a necklace or bracelet :)

Happy Swapping and have a nice day!

New altered bottle caps and ATC's

I've recently made some new altered bottle caps:

So the left one in the left picture has one of my friends her name on it. The letters are stamped and heat embossed. Than I also added 3 gemstones to it.

The right one in the left picture as a background made out of paper from an old book. Then I've put an old English postage stamp in it and embellished it with gemstones.

The top bottle caps are meant to clip onto the earrings (See former post). The background paper is blue with white dots and the flowers were embossed onto it. Finally I've put a pearl in the center of each flower.

So, these were my initial/ basic attempts to make altered bottle caps. While making them I came up with some new and better ideas! I already got my supplies for the new attempts and will tell you all about it when I show you the results in one of my latter posts.

So, for ATCs; since the second Postage Stamps ATC swap on swap-bot has started I made A third Postage Stamp ATC swap, this time on China. You can see all the swaps on the swap webpage:

I've now also added a feedback form on the hompage + A poll where you can tell me which country you would like to see next!

So, this is my Canada Postage Stamp ATC:

I also had to make an ATC for the orange Owl ATC swap on swap-bot:

Finally, I also wanted to add that I've updated the homepage for the 'My Pet ATC swap' Which I have hosted on Swap-bot. The nice thing is that a lot of people have sent me a picture of their ATC's so I could make a collage of them on the homepage. I will definitely organize this swap again! It was great fun!
Have a look on the homepage: My Pet ATC Swap

Thats it for now :)  Happy crafting and happy swapping!

new ATCs and new toys!

Yesterday I bought some equipment for doing heat  embossing! I bought the heater, the glue-stamp  pad and 4 powders! I I already had a  go!

This is the ATC I've made for my Postage Stamp ATC Swap on Swap-Bot which I am currently hosting. YOU CAN STILL JOIN THE SWAP :) the signup deadline is 28 january 2012. It is supposed to be a series of ATC swaps, namely: postage stamp ATCs - you create a postage stamp for the country on that swap. This is the first one and it is 'Australia'.

In the  past few days I have also received a few ATCs from different swaps.

This is the ATC I received for the 'handdrawn ATC swap' on swapbot. The artist is 'Tonie2Weeks'.

This ATC was for the 'Where in the world are you ATC swap on Swap-Bot. The artist is 'Barsook'.

This ATC was for the zentangle R ATC swap and the artist is 'PDXYogini'.

Happy Swapping!

TGIF! :) When I arrived at home this evening I had two ATC's waiting for me in an envelope! These were from my partner on the DAYDWP ATC swap on swap-bot. I really like them and I would like to thank my partner for the nice ATC's. If I get permission I will put a picture of them on my website: Jenny's swap-blog.

In addition, yesterday evening I've been working on my ATC for the 'ATC once a week! #9: Where in the world are you.'. Here you can see the outcome:

It is comletely Belgian! And I've titled it 'Belgium: welcome!'
The background: from a beer bottle (Jupiler: Belgian Beer: mmmmm....)
A Belgian stamp
Bonbons: wrappers and picture
Wrapping from a kriek beer
Lace: made in Bruges!

Byebye for now!

My first post is a fact! :)

Welcome on Jenny's swap-blog!

I have decided to move the actual blog-part to a separate website: Jenny's Swap-Blog. Although the weebly website is very good - thank you weebly - i don't really like to blogs. Lets try e-blogger! :) Thank you www.blogger.com! :) You can still find my ATCs on www.swap-blog.weebly.com and also the swaps which I am hosting and the outcomes of swaps in which I have participated!

To make my first post a bit more complete some news on my ATC/swap progress. Tuesday i've sent off my ATCs for the handdrawn ATC swap on swap-bot and also for the DAYDWP ATC swap. Respectively, these are the cards which I have sent:

The two left ones were for the DAYDWP ATC swap and the right one for the handdrawn/ painted ATC swap. All swaps were on on swap-bot. Yesterday I've also posted my R zentangle ATC and my ATC for the QUICK random ATC swap. You can see them below:

So, the left one is the zentangle R and the right one is my vintage frenchie one.

I hope my partners will be happy!

Have to go!
